Back On The Map

If I keep feeling like I'm feeling now (which is better), I'll be back into my normal routine tomorrow.  Actually, I'm fixin' to push it a little.  I've got a lot going on tomorrow, but I think I can pull off the following:

6:30 AM    - Get Up
7:30 AM    - Ride to work the long, long way (15 miles)
8:15 AM    - Arrive at office
9:00 AM    - New employee starts
11:00 AM  - Lunch ride (20 miles)
1:00 PM    - Meeting at office
2:00 PM    - Ask/beg a co-worker for a ride to my house so I can pick up my running gear.
5:00 PM    - Run home the long way (5 miles)
6:00 PM    - Pick up Ian from his after school program
8:00 PM    - Write a blog post about how great it was to be back in my routine.

I don't want to do anything stupid given I've not been feeling well, but man I need this.  Hopefully, it will work out.

i hope you're well rested to take on 35 miles and a 5 mile run! Sounds like FUN though! I want to be able to workout on my lunch...wonder if my new place has showers at it...

I hope you feel better soon. Great you bike and run on the same day.

as long as you don't go overboard with the HR should be a good day of training.

Hmmmm...sick one day and then 3 sessions the next, that might be considered doing "something stupid." On the positive side, add in that you ate a banana and you can just repost this again, a 2-for-1 deal, sweet!

Hope you ended up feeling much better as the day went on and that you were able to get in a good ride and run.

How is the bike getting home?

I have not done cyclocross, but I have gone and watched some team mates, it looks fun, you dont need a cross bike, i saw many people using a mountain bike. The races loop numourous times and last about 30-45 minutes, each wave. Just from watching, I would say practice flying mounts and dismounts would the best tip.

I know you are a
smart guy. THIS DOES NOT SOUND SMART! O.k. just my two cents. I know you ran into horrific fog because I did all 20 miles of my bike in pee soup this morning. Be careful dude.

P.S If the new employee doesn't work out, my wife is available for additional employment (seriously)

Did you survive!? That's quite a day!
I'm curious....how do you lunch-hour runners/bikers manage to avoid offending your coworkers with post-workout funk? Do you have access to a shower?

Does the bike stay at work and then you run or drive in? It sounds like quite a day.
