The final day of October. Yet it is still incredible weather. 7 years in and living in California still amazes me.

Two things on my list today - a bike ride and watching the USC/Oregon game. Mind you, I'm an Oregon fan, but since I am a transplant among transplants, I have no fear of retribution. To demonstrate the overall dilution of hard core localized sports fans, I will point out that there are more Red Sox fans on my street than Angels fans. Oh yeah, and the bike ride. Biking is one of those things I kind of dread until I am actually pedaling, and then it is fine about 5 miles in.

And then there is a pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating, and a party to stick in as well. Should be a good day.
